Providence Employment Services (PES)
The Employment Services Division successfully places individuals with disabilities in challenging jobs. The jobs are varied and match individuals’ preferences, interests and skills.

Employment Services assess individuals to determine their skill levels, interests, and preferences. If an individual requires skill training to attain their preferred job, Work Adjustment Training services are provided. The intent is to provide individuals with the best job matches for their long-term successes.

The Center’s employment staff provides ongoing support. Typically this support includes job development, job placement, case management, and ongoing on-the-job coaching. The Division is proud of the 110 job holders who work for many local businesses and organizations.

The Pottery program assists individuals in their development of appropriate work skills and habits using pottery as the medium. Individuals are encouraged to make choices pertaining to their work and social life, build independence, and participate in activities in their communities.
